Pay Per Click

What is Pay-per-click (PPC)?

Pay-per-click is a method of advertising online in which an advertiser will pay a publisher only when their ad is clicked on.

Where is PPC used?

Pay-per-click is often used in search engine advertising, such as Google or Bing, where an ad will appear when a user searches for something relevant online. However, in order for ads to appear in a search, advertisers will often have to enter a keyword ad auction, where a search engine will determine the rank of your ad via such factors as relevance, highest bid and quality of ad.

PPC can be an effective way of marketing, as you can rest assured you will only pay if your ad is seen.
