Push Notifications

What are Push Notifications?

A message that shows up on a mobile device is a push notification. App publishers can send them at any time to receive them, users do not have to be logged in to view them. They look like SMS text messages but only reach users who have your app enabled.

Why are they used?

Push notifications are a way of communicating to a user directly. Click-through rates can be twice as high as e-mail. To boost sales and increase customer service, they may alert individuals, advertise goods or deals.

Key point:Analytics and measurement are significant resources to boost the efficiency of an app. But writing persuasive push notifications that are useful to users and that drive action is necessary.
