What is B2C?
B2C stands for business to consumer, and refers to any transaction between a business and a customer (as opposed to business to business or business to retailer to consumer). It also typically refers to online transactions.
Examples of B2C
With more and more companies and products moving online, the need for a designated retailer who would add large markups to prices diminished. Direct B2C transactions are now commonplace, facilitated by the continued rise in e-commerce.
Key point:B2C differs to B2C in its marketing approach and wording, due to dealing with humans rather than corporate budgets. Messaging and presentation must consider visceral responses to tone as well as rational responses to the value of their product or service.
